London (PRWEB) May 22, 2007

Following high demand for their personal London to Paris day tours by high-speed train, London-based specialist tour operator British Tours Ltd is now offering a greater range of private tours of Paris and France via the high-speed Eurostar.

The custom tours include high speed train travel between London and Paris – just 2 hours 35 minutes each way – and private car or coach in France with qualified tour guides.

The new tours include Louis XIV’s Palace of Versailles with its stunning gardens and hall of mirrors, the great impressionist painter Claude Monet’s Home and Gardens at Giverny, the beautiful Renaissance Chateaux of the Loire Valley, and the World Heritage site of Mont St Michel with its magnificent 11th Century Benedictine Monastery.

The most recent addition is a Champagne Country tour featuring tours of fascinating underground galleries, Hautvillers where Dom Perignon invented champagne, and Champagne tasting in a private room at Moet and Chandon.

The Normandy D-Day invasion beaches, which British Tours Ltd have covered for many years – previously by ferry from England, and more recently by private plane and high speed train from London – are also offered on a private tour from Paris which visits Arromanches, Longues, Ranville, Omaha Beach and the Pointe du Hoc cliffs.

The tours which are available with Eurostar journeys, or separately for clients already staying in Paris, are expected to receive significant interest from British Tours Ltd’s clients. “We have found a significant uptake of the new tours from past clients who have toured with us in Britain; they know the standard British Tours Ltd sets and seem comfortable to tour with us in France too” says Nikki Emms, British Tours Ltd’s General Manager.

British Tours Ltd has specialised in upmarket, private touring in England, Scotland and Wales since 1958, and offer a number of special interest tours with expert tour guides.
