Question by Intangent: What is behind the underdevelopment in Africa and how do we effectively reverse it?
Africa used to be a continent of kings, home to the ancient Egyptian civilization which lasted the longest of all civilizations on earth, and created numerous world wonders. Now, Africa is a haven for corruption, disease and death. How do we get Africa back to her former glory?

egypt is only one country and is still thriving. there are problems in africa but you have to note that in comparison to where they were previously they have not become worse they have cars, cities, hospitals etc. there are wars due to rebel fractions partly due to colonial states ruining their infrastructure. population is a big problem and so is debt.
the best thing would be to drop debt and control populations in high population areas. some charities and the church are doing that now but to limited success.
debt is the problem, it has crippled africa.
